Meet Kara

Clinical Psychologist

BA (Hons), MPsych (Clinical), MAAPI

Kara is a clinical psychologist and board approved supervisor with over 12 years’ experience across clinical, forensic and educational settings, addressing a wide range of presenting issues. Kara is passionate about creating a warm, non-judgmental space to foster healing, empowerment and long-term wellness for her clients. Her approach emphasizes down-to-earth, compassionate care and holistic wellbeing, blending science and soul to ensure clients feel authentically seen and supported in alignment with their personal strengths, values and wellness goals.

As a mother of twins herself, Kara has a special interest in perinatal and postnatal mental health, offering a deep understanding of the unique complexities and challenges at all stages of this journey. She strives to support parents with the momentous challenges, life transitions and emotional rollercoaster from pre-conception to parenthood, while strengthening positive family connections, coping and fulfilment during parenting. Kara feels privileged every day to walk alongside her clients on route towards their own life-balance.
